Theresa A. Mills, MD, FACC, is a board-certified interventional cardiologist. Dr. Mills specializes in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular medicine, nuclear cardiology, internal medicine, and emergency medicine. After earning her medical degree at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, she entered active-duty service as a Captain in the United States Army Medical Corps. She completed her internship in general surgery at Brooke Army Medical Center. She previously served as a General Medical Officer in the emergency department at USA MEDDAC Martin Army Community Hospital in Fort Benning, Georgia and General Medical Officer and Clinic Commander at Coleman Troop Medical Clinic - Unite States Army MEDDAC in Heidelberg, Germany. She has completed a combined residency in internal and emergency medicine as well as a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at the Louisiana State University Health Science Center. She has also completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Mills became a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology in 2012. She has received a Meritorious Service Medal and Army Commendation Medal among others.
