Your Rehab Treatment Programs

Pulmonary Rehab

Our hospital-based pulmonary rehab program features dedicated specialists who are passionate about your whole health recovery. Your personal care team is certified in advanced cardiac life support and will make sure you understand your pulmonary condition as well as the associated risks and treatment options. We’ll also guide you through an assisted exercise program designed to fit your specific needs. Our team will help you work through each fitness activity allowing us to closely observe your physical recovery from oxygen saturation levels to blood pressure and exertion levels. For added support we offer a variety of one-on-one and group counseling options to get you centered and back on track. You’re never alone.

How long is the program?

Depending on your condition and other factors, rehabilitation could last between 12 and 36 sessions.

How do I know if I am eligible?

Your eligibility relies on several factors, including:

  • You’ve been diagnosed with lung disease and have a prescription for pulmonary rehabilitation from your physician
  • You have COPD and your pulmonary function test reveals COPD GOLD Stage 2 or above
  • You have pulmonary fibrosis, interstitial lung disease, asthma, or pulmonary hypertension

You doctor will diagnose you and determine the best treatment option for your condition.

Cardiac Rehab

We are committed to a recovery that not only strengthens your heart, but also changes your life. Our skilled specialists provide ongoing support through heart disease education, customized exercise plans, and one-on-one and group counseling. At the heart of our mission is a deep commitment to healing the whole self. We work with you to monitor your physical improvements and numbers like blood pressure, heart rhythm, pulse, and exertion levels and also provide access to small-group discussions and other support. With our team of certified nurses, physiologists, counselors, and dieticians, you’ll have all the tools you need to recover to the best of your ability.

How do I know if I am eligible for the program?

Several factors determine if you’re a good fit for the cardiac rehabilitation program, including:

  • You’ve been diagnosed with heart disease and have a prescription for rehabilitation from your physician
  • You have chronic stable heart failure (CHF) with an ejection fraction (EF) of less than 36 percent
  • You had a heart attack within the past year
  • You’ve had an angioplasty with or without stent
  • You had heart surgery
  • You have angina

Your physician will diagnose your condition and decide on the best treatment plan for you.

How do I know if I am eligible for the program?

Candidates for ICR include those who have experienced:

  • Chronic heart failure, if meeting select criteria
  • Coronary artery bypass surgery
  • Current stable angina (chest pain)
  • Heart attack
  • Heart or heart-lung transplant
  • Heart valve repair or replacement
  • Stenting or angioplasty
