Huijian James Wang, MD, FACC, FHRS, is board-certified in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology. By implementing the latest therapies in catheter ablation, pacemakers and defibrillators, Dr. Wang helps patients with heart disease and arrhythmias live longer and healthier lives and treats patients from all over the state.
Dr. Wang completed his internship and residency at Montefiore Medical Center, The University Hospital for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. He then pursued his cardiology training at Stanford University in California. In addition to his clinical cardiology training at Stanford University Hospital, he performed extensive research on molecular genetics and heart disease.
His subspecialty training in cardiac electrophysiology was under the mentorship of Dr. Hasan Garan at New York Presbyterian Hospital, The University Hospital for Columbia and Cornell University. With a passion for solving complex arrhythmia problems, he completed additional training at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, focusing on complex ablations, especially for atrial fibrillation.
