Cesar Bonilla, MD, FACC, is an eminently qualified cardiologist who is board certified in clinical electrophysiology, cardiovascular disease and internal medicine. A native of Colombia, he was among the top 10 graduates in his class at the University of Cartagena Medical School and served in the Colombian Navy before moving to the United States for his internal medicine residency at Cleveland Clinic Florida. He continued his training there with his cardiology fellowship, earning the title of chief fellow, and subsequently completed a fellowship in clinical echocardiography at the University of Florida’s Shands Jacksonville Cardiovascular Center. Dr. Bonilla has been affiliated with AdventHealth since 2014 and is actively involved in clinical research, including the evaluation of newly developed medical devices. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
