Alvaro Martin, MD is a board-certified pulmonary and critical care physician with expertise in advanced bronchoscopy and interventional pulmonology. He specializes in both malignant and non-malignant lung conditions, with a particular focus on lung cancer diagnosis, staging using minimally invasive techniques. He is committed to improving patient outcomes by leveraging the latest advancements in medical treatments for chronic pulmonary diseases and also minimally invasive bronchoscopy techniques for the diagnosis and staging of lung cancer. He collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to optimize the care of patients. Dr. Martin has served as a pulmonary and critical care physician at multiple AdventHealth hospitals in Central Florida, and was the medical director of pulmonary rehabilitation at AdventHealth Altamonte Hospital. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles on pulmonary diseases, cancer and bronchoscopy techniques. Is the author of numerous peer-reviewed articles. on pulmonary carcinoma, post-obstructive pneumonia and bronchoscopy techniques, Dr. Martin speaks English, Spanish and German.
