Dr. Aamir Javaid, MD

Interventional Cardiologist

Aamir Javaid, MD, FACC, is a board-certified interventional cardiologist with additional board certification in cardiovascular disease. He specializes in preventative cardiology, echocardiography, vascular testing and nuclear stress testing. Dr. Javaid earned his medical degree at Aga Khan University in Pakistan. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Duke University in Durham, NC. He then completed a cardiology fellowship at Duke University Medical Center. Adding two additional fellowships to his training, Dr. Javaid later became a fellow in both cardiovascular disease and internal cardiology at Washington Hospital Center/Georgetown University Hospital.
