Dr. Wasim Ahmar, MD

Interventional Cardiologist

Wasim Ahmar, MD, FACC, is a board-certified cardiologist who specializes in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. Dr. Ahmar earned his medical degree from King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan. After moving to the US, he completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Toledo in Ohio. Before settling in Florida, he completed two fellowships in Philadelphia, PA, one in cardiovascular disease at Hahnemann University Hospital and a second in interventional cardiology at Temple University Hospital.
